overswum is my quiet corner of the internet — a simple hand-built space where I get
to learn,
experiment, and create without any pressure. I built this site from scratch using only HTML, CSS,
and a bit of JavaScript, because I wanted something that felt personal, lightweight, and genuinely
mine. No templates, no frameworks, no complicated setups. Just a blank page and the freedom to shape
it however I want.
this site is a kind of digital notebook, a place to organize small ideas, test out layouts, and
collect things that inspire me. i am still learning web development, so everything here is a work in
progress. some pages may look unfinished, some code might be messy, and some designs may change
overnight, but that is part of the charm. i like the idea of a website that grows with me instead of
pretending to be perfect.
aesthetically, overswum leans toward a soft calm webcore feeling, gentle colors quiet textures and
simple shapes. i want the site to feel like a peaceful space to wander through, almost like flipping
through an old notebook or a scrapbook filled with small personal moments. it is not meant to be
flashy or professional. it is meant to feel light honest and a little dreamy.
as i keep learning more about coding and design, this space will continue to shift and evolve. i
will add new pages, adjust old ones, and experiment with whatever i am curious about at the moment.
if you find something here that makes you smile, inspires you, or helps the web feel a little more
human, then this site has already done its job.
since i handcode everything and focus on small details in layout and spacing, the experience is
designed with bigger displays in mind. mobile support is something i am still learning and
improving, but for now, the site is meant to be explored on a computer, where everything has enough
room to breathe.
thanks for visiting and drifting through overswum.
